DSV are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work as part of the team to support our non bonded customers. As well as processing the freight on the warehouse floor, this role will involve some administrative tasks as well. If you are passionate, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and thrive on tackling complex challenges, we invite you to apply and become a vital part of our team. What will you be doing?
- Receiving of inbound freight (using GXD system & WMS)
- Booking in of freight (using GXD system & WMS)
- Processing of outbound freight (using GXD system & WMS)
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using forklift
- Sort and split freight as per customer SOP's
- Manage the mailbox and responds to enquiries from both internal departments and customers
- Have previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
- Are PC literate
- Good understanding of written and spoken English (Essential)
- Basic mathematical skills (Essential)
- Basic geographical knowledge (Desirable)
- Be a team player
- Have a passion for excellence and commitment to be the best
