Main Purpose of the role

DSV are currently recruiting a Strategic Pricing Specialist based in Heathrow (although this is flexible). This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire strategic rate request process. The role ensures that all submissions are precise, competitive, and delivered within deadlines, aligning with DSV strategies for growth by coordinating internal teams, following effective pricing strategies, and upholding compliance and quality standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring strategic rate request responses are prepared, reviewed, and submitted accurately and within the specified deadlines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all strategic rate request documentation, meeting all specified deadlines.
  • Maintain the joint opportunity workflow (including uploading all documents relating to that opportunity) and manage the end-to-end process from receipt to submission.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is easily accessible for future reference and audits.
  • Primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders throughout the rate request process.
  • The coordinator is accountable for ensuring that stakeholders are informed of progress, changes, and outcomes related to the rate request submissions.
  • Post submission analysis reviewing outcomes to identify areas for improvement in future submissions.

About You

  • Good understanding of the freight forwarding industry, especially LCL, FCL, and Air Freight.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Experience of analyzing data and market trends to create competitive proposals.
  • Confident in communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Be a team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Result orientated with a competitive nature.
