DSV are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager, reporting into the Regional Director, to join our Contract Logistics division and oversee some of the UK's most significant client accounts. This is an opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to influence, innovate, and deliver exceptional value.
Responsibilities
- Oversee some of the UK's most critical client relationships, ensuring service excellence and long-term partnership success.
- Review and support contract delivery, KPIs, and service levels.
- Build strong, long-term relationships based on trust, performance, and mutual growth.
- Work closely with the Regional Director to produce and provide relevant internal business data.
- Develop, assist and support the production of customer business review packs, ensuring standardisation across regions and sites.
- Obtain and analyse market intelligence and feedback to drive an insightful strategy and its ongoing evolution.
- Drive a clear and agreed account plan, with the client and operational team, that benefit the client and the business operationally and commercially.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, renewals, and service expansion.
- Build strong business cases and lead negotiations to secure competitive advantage.
- Partner with General Managers to deliver efficiency, innovation, and tailored solutions for every client.
- Use tools like Power BI to turn data into insights that drive smarter decisions and better outcomes.
- Influence global strategies, contribute to tenders, and create new service propositions that meet evolving market needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a client-facing leadership role within a multinational supply chain or logistics environment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills from shop floor to executive level.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot opportunities and deliver results.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office and data-driven decision-making.
- A degree in business or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to travel as required, both UK and internationally.
