Main Purpose of the role
The Group Process Specialist is required to ensure the highest standard of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment is realised companywide and within the region of operation. You will be expected to support regional sites in the Midlands, within DSV UK, with travel required to them on a regular basis to ensure compliance is maintained throughout their region in the UK. Through your in-depth knowledge and understanding of current UK and IE legislation, you will have experience to undertake hazard spotting and be able to produce risk assessments.
The organisation is divided between Road, Air and Sea and Contract Logistics, and with each area this brings its own challenges so you can expect your daily routine to be varied but for the right person truly rewarding.
What will you be doing?
- Liaising and working with members of the wider QHSE team within the UK.
- Working with the wider members of the divisional management to ensure that their operations remain at the highest standards of compliance, remaining personable, professional and protective of reputation.
- Growing and improving the behavioural culture, beyond the company stated QHSE objectives.
- Developing relationships with regulatory bodies and ensuring activities continue to meet compliance to legal and local requirements.
