Location: Brackmills, Northampton

Responsibilities

  • Provide a customer‑focused administration service on selected accounts
  • Work directly with the client’s customer service team to achieve delivery targets on orders as per customer requirements
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly checks to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Ensure that the operation runs efficiently and effectively, focusing on process, system and stock layout improvements to increase operational outputs
  • Actively work on the warehouse floor to understand processes
  • Manage Locked Inventory at least every two hours or as required
  • Investigate and clear all auto‑generated stock checks
  • Manage and monitor replenishment processes and effectiveness of pick‑faces, making changes where necessary
  • Conduct empty location checks
  • Investigate all queries and adjustments prior to any action
  • Complete spot checks on picking activities and goods‑in activities
  • Assist with QC checks and VAS work
  • Investigate and report reasons for unidentified inventory and return to stock
  • Ensure all stock is in appropriate zones
  • Support with reporting and data analysis
  • Identify and develop process, system and inventory layout improvements
  • Complete any additional tasks requested by the Inventory Team Leader or Stock & Systems Manager

Candidate Profile

  • Able to understand and interpret datasets
  • Able to communicate clearly both written and verbally
  • Able to manage and prioritise workload with the ability to work to strict deadlines and timescales
  • Able to adapt to a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using CargoWrite or Red Prairie WMS applications with training to Basic Plus level or equivalent
