Main Purpose of the role

DSV are looking to recruit a FREIGHT Forwarder to manage daily transport schedules to meet delivery and collection requirements in our busy office in Bradford.

What will you be doing?

  • Work collaboratively with drivers, controllers and operational teams to maintain service levels.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding route changes, delivery instructions, and operational updates.
  • React proactively to volume fluctuations, delays, and operational disruptions.
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to coordinate bookings and resolve service challenges.
  • Support transport activities including documentation, and reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within transport planning and execution.

About You

  • Experience using Transport Management Systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem solving capability and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning systems.
