  • Part Time Logistics Accounting Administrator
  • Bristol
  • Monday-Friday -17.5 hours per week 9-12.30 (after training)
  • 15 month Fixed Term Contract

DSV are recruiting for a part-time accounts administrator within our logistics department in Bristol on a 13 month contract to cover a maternity contract.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated administrator to be responsible for generating.

Validating and processing customer invoices in line with contractual agreements and service level expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy and varied administrative role.

What will you be doing?

  • Review transportation charges, accessorial fees, and fuel surcharges to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies prior to submission.
  • Support month-end billing activities and ensure all revenue is recognized accurately and on time.
  • Maintain billing records and supporting documentation for audit purposes
  • Manage and resolve Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) billing disputes with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on disputed charges and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with operational teams, procurement, finance, and customer representatives to achieve prompt resolution.
  • Monitor dispute ageing and provide regular updates to management and customers.
  • Ensure agreed dispute resolution KPIs are achieved.

About You

  • Previous experience of working within a logistics organisation preferred
  • Proven office experience with a strong understanding of accounting administrative procedures
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft office Suite (Word & Excel)
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
