Warehouse Operator
Shift: 4 on 4 off, 6am - 6pm
Location: Heathrow
Are you a dedicated team player with a passion for excellence? We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team at our Heathrow location. If you have previous experience in a warehouse environment and hold a Reach Truck license, we want to hear from you.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Efficient Communication: Managing the mailbox and promptly responding to enquiries
- Freight Handling: Receiving inbound freight using the GXD system & WMS and booking in and processing outbound freight using the same systems
- Forklift Operations: Safely loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
- Freight Sorting: Sorting and splitting freight according to customer SOPs
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to all procedures set by regulatory bodies, such as CAA, ETSF, as directed
- Warehouse Management System: Utilising handheld scanners
- Manual Handling: Frequently performing manual handling tasks
- Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with all health and safety and in-house procedures
- Material Handling Equipment: Using all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as trained
About You
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is essential
- Reach Truck License: Holding a Reach Truck license is essential for this position
- Desirable License: Possession of a Counterbalance license would be advantageous
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Time Management: Excellent timekeeping and attendance are essential qualities
