This role will provide a customer focused administration service on selected accounts, working directly with the client’s customer service team to achieve delivery targets on orders as per customer requirements.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensuring that the operation runs as efficiently and effectively as possible, with a focus on identifying process, system and stock layout improvements which will increase operational outputs.
  • Actively work on the warehouse floor to ensure good understanding of processes.
  • Ensure locked inventory is managed as required.
  • To ensure that any auto-generated stock checks are fully investigated and cleared.
  • To manage and monitor replenishment process and effectiveness of pick-faces, making changes where necessary.
  • Conducting empty location checks.
  • To co-ordinate PI counts.
  • To thoroughly investigate all queries and adjustments prior to any action.
  • To complete spot checks on Picking activities and Goods In activities.
  • Provide assistance with QC checks / VAS work.
  • Investigate and report the reasons for unidentified inventory and return to stock.
  • Ensure all stock is in appropriate zones.
  • Support processing of customer returns.
  • Support with reporting and data analysis.
  • To identify and develop process, system and inventory layout improvements.
  • To deliver training to operatives for basic system activities.

About You

  • Able to understand and interpret datasets.
  • Able to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
  • Able to manage and prioritise workload with ability to work to strict deadlines and timescales.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience of using CargoWrite or Red Prairie WMS applications with training to Basic Plus level or equivalent.
  • MHE experience – RT, HLOP, VNA (Desirable).
