  • Role: Warehouse Team Leader -PM Shift
  • Days/Hours: Mon-Fri, 14:00-22:00

DSV is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Tamworth.

You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure all inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining high operational standards, promoting a positive work environment, and supporting continuous improvement across warehouse processes.

What will you be doing?

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse team during the PM shift.
  • Ensure that all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
  • Monitor productivity and performance, addressing issues promptly and fairly.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality, and operational standards at all times.
  • Provide hands‑on leadership and training to develop and motivate team members.
  • Conduct shift briefings, allocate tasks, and monitor workflow to meet targets.
  • Work collaboratively with other Team Leaders, Warehouse Supervisors, and the Operations team to ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
  • Manage stock control and investigate discrepancies when required.
  • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and well‑organized throughout the shift.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a positive team culture.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proven experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume warehouse.
  • Knowledge of WMS systems and warehouse processes.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and make confident operational decisions.
  • Flexible and willing to support business needs when required
