We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Evening Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising the movement of goods, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective, and timely delivery/collection. What will you be doing?
- Route Planning & Scheduling: Finalising efficient routes and scheduling daily/weekly transportation activities to maximise vehicle utilisation.
- Operational Coordination: Finalise the allocation of CoDi vehicles and drivers to deliveries/collections. Coordinate the movement of our internal trunking network and communicate with other branches to release their local runs to warehouse operations.
- Communication & Service: Updating departments on delivery/collection status and handling inquiries.
- Continuous Improvement: Analysing data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improving transportation efficiency.
- Problem‑Solving: Re‑arranging deliveries in real‑time, responding to bottlenecks, and managing out‑of‑hours requests.
About You
- Proven experience as a Planner or in a similar role within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
