DSV is recruiting for a Trainee Freight Forwarder at Mercia Park, working within the Irish department. We are looking for an individual with an interest in a career in Freight and the desire to learn. After completing a successful probationary period, you'll have the opportunity to join our “Young DSV” programme, designed to support your development and understanding of logistics on a global scale.

- Location: Mercia Park, DE12
- Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week
What will you be doing?
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service across both Import and Export shipments.
- Liaise professionally with customers, overseas offices, and internal colleagues via phone and email.
- Update, check, and maintain accurate shipment information within DSV systems (full system training will be provided).
- Plan and coordinate export trailers for Northern Ireland and Ireland.
- Provide timely Proof of Delivery (POD) to customers and overseas offices upon completion of shipments.
- Investigate, resolve, and follow up on customer and operational queries to ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
- Monitor shipments closely, following up on collections and deliveries.
- Complete general administrative duties accurately.
