At DSV we\’re building the world’s leading logistics and transport network. DSV are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor at Stoke on Trent to work with and support the Warehouse Shift in delivering/exceeding contractual customer KPI’s within the warehouse to an agreed budget, whilst driving health & safety and best practice within the operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the Warehouse function and support the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, supervising a team of operators to achieve business targets.
  • Provide line management, coordinate workloads, and support the team to ensure delivery of objectives.
  • Monitor issues and ensure production targets, KPIs and quality standards are met to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support needs to achieve high standards, while fostering a culture of working safely and progressing within DSV.
  • Day-to-day responsibility for running the contract in a customer service capacity.
  • Meet the customer’s operational requirements and ensure deliveries are made on time in full.
  • Provide first-line support for customers and DSV to proactively handle issues.
  • Support colleagues across all departments to provide an enhanced service to customers while promoting DSV best practices.
  • Responsible for the completion of location KPIs and for customer invoicing processes.
