Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and shaping the future of WMS and IT-enabled change across a dynamic, multi-site organisation? We’re looking for an experienced Business Change Consultant to join our Solutions WMS Team and play a pivotal role in transforming how our sites operate across the UK & Ireland. Reporting to the Business Change Manager, you will work collaboratively with project workstream leads, operational teams, and global support functions to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance performance, strengthen standardisation, and elevate the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the build and test phases of WMS/IT setups, ensuring quality, governance, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Champion process optimisation, streamlining activity and ensuring effective use of Change Requests, IT Support workflows and BCM approval systems.
- Partner with Project, Finance & Admin Teams to ensure new customer implementations are delivered to an exceptional standard, meeting all operational and stakeholder requirements.
- Analyse business insights with Business Change Managers to identify opportunities for innovation and performance enhancement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Global BCM and IT teams to ensure UK&I requirements are efficiently implemented, tested, and deployed.
- Explore new technologies, working with global functions to assess potential solutions and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring WMS setups evolve to meet the needs of each site.
About You
- Previous experience in Operational and Financial Management within large, multi-user environments.
- Strong working knowledge of WMS and EDI systems.
- Understanding of business development processes, including data analysis and rate card interpretation.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of achieving and exceeding business goals.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma).
- Ability to lead and motivate both direct and indirect teams.
- Highly motivated, positive, and proactive approach to work.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence (regular travel is required).
