DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Project Specialist, Air & Sea in Perth. The position is responsible for project planning and operational workload of import and export (sea and air) shipments by compiling, completing and verifying the necessary documents in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support project planning and operational execution for import and export shipments across both air and sea freight.
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting client retention and growth initiatives.
- Support tender submissions by contributing to planning, execution, pricing, and meeting required timeframes.
- Manage job registrations, order tracking, PRA lodgements (1‑Stop), and transport bookings while liaising with customers and service providers.
- Proactively troubleshoot import and export issues by working with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers.
- Deliver strong customer care while supporting departmental processes to meet KPIs and investigating service failures or customer issues when required.
Qualifications
- Experience in international project forwarding and/or freight forwarding across air and sea operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete documentation accurately and maintain high data quality.
- Excellent prioritisation and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of CargoWise One (CW1) is preferred.
- Customer-focused, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
