DSV is currently recruiting a Pricing Analyst based in Aberdeen. This role will be responsible for preparing competitive quotations for our UK clients as well as our overseas offices and agent network. You will work closely with global DSV teams, client retention and sales colleagues to secure new business, delivering tailored pricing solutions that meet client expectations while driving profitability for the company.
What will you be doing?
- Communicate effectively in a professional manner with customers to ensure their quotation requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions.
- Liaise with other DSV/Agents offices in the UK and abroad, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or specific requirements.
- Support compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other offices to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
- Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment.
About You
- Operational knowledge / background in Air, Ocean or both.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
- Preferably Dangerous Goods knowledge (preferred).
- Commercial awareness or background.
- Proven experience in negotiating with vendors and suppliers.
- Ability to manage, maintain, and ensure high data quality.
- KPI awareness with the ability to analyse performance and identify improvements.
- A team player with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
