DSV is looking for a passionate Learning & Development Specialist to join our HR team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across the UK & Ireland by enhancing skills, driving capability, and supporting a culture of continuous learning.
What will you be doing?
- Conduct training needs analyses in partnership with HR and business leaders.
- Design, source, and deliver high‑impact learning solutions—including virtual, in‑person, and e‑learning programs—focused on personal effectiveness and leadership.
- Create engaging digital learning content using tools such as Rise, Storyline 360, and Vyond.
- Manage and maintain our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and excellent user experience.
- Support apprenticeship and graduate development pathways, ensuring structured and consistent progression.
- Track and report training attendance, working with managers to resolve any barriers.
- Measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve program quality.
- Champion a learning culture through strong communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate compliance training, including Mandatory Manager Training, AEO, and Aviation Security.
- Deliver in‑house training on HR processes and other areas of expertise.
- Lead or support L&D projects that enhance organisational capability.
- Maintain training schedules, prepare materials, and ensure accurate reporting for quarterly statistics.
- Assist with developing e-learning solutions and integrating new digital tools.
- Pursue ongoing professional development in line with Global BCM standards, including Key User, Engineer, and Train‑the‑Trainer qualifications.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
About You
- Proven experience designing and delivering both face‑to‑face and virtual training.
- Experience creating e‑learning content (Articulate or similar tools desirable).
- Effective project management and prioritisation skills.
- An understanding of adult learning principles and modern learning methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and LMS platforms.
