DSV is looking to recruit a Freight Forwarder to manage daily transport schedules to meet delivery and collection requirements in our busy office in Bradford.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with drivers, controllers and operational teams to maintain service levels.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding route changes, delivery instructions, and operational updates.
- React proactively to volume fluctuations, delays, and operational disruptions.
- Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to coordinate bookings and resolve service challenges.
- Support transport activities including documentation, and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within transport planning and execution.
About You:
- Experience using Transport Management Systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator.
- Strong problem solving capability and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning systems.
