Main Purpose of the role
DSV are looking to recruit an HGV Class 2 (Category C) Day Driver. You will be part of a team of over 30 drivers, delivering exceptional service and playing a key role in our operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the latest spec equipment, including VOLVO, Mercedes and MAN vehicles. If you have a passion for driving and delivering goods while providing exceptional customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.
What will you be doing?
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections through the North-East of England
- Perform daily walk round checks and report any defects
- Communicate with the transport office
- Efficient and safe transport of goods.
About You
- 1 year’s previous experience in a similar role
- Possess a valid HGV Class 2 license max permittable points = 6. No DD, DR, DG or IN Endorsements
- Valid Digi card.
- Valid Drivers CPC.
- A good understanding of EU and WTD Driver’s hours regulations
