DSV is recruiting a Training Specialist at our Mercia Park location
· This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company committed to providing quality, innovative value, and logistics services.
- Provide training to increase knowledge of the CargoWrite WMS application across the UK.
- Assist the Training Manager with Lean Thinking programs, Key User Training courses, and administrative duties as required.
Key Tasks
- Deliver CargoWrite training for migrations and new client implementations, including basic and plus courses across UK sites, evaluating knowledge levels and recommending further training.
- Support Lean Thinking training across UK sites, understanding Lean processes to aid operational support.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Manage training schedules, liaise across sites, prepare course materials, and produce training data for quarterly reports.
- Assist in developing e-learning tools.
- Maintain and improve knowledge standards in line with Global BCM guidelines, including re-testing qualifications bi-annually.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to the Training Manager.
Skills and Competencies
Required
· Level 3 – Basic English
· Successful completion of Plus People Management Skills
· CargoWrite Knowledge
· Operational role accountable for productivity
· Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
· Positive and approachable attitude
Desirable
· Completion of Key User, Engineer & Train the Trainer courses
- Experience with WMS project lifecycle
- Ability to analyze operational performance and knowledge of picking strategies
- Experience delivering operator training
- IT aptitude and adaptability to new systems and environments
