D’Stassi Art is looking for several ambitious, professional and career-driven Sales Consultants to join the team at our flagship gallery in Shoreditch. This is a new business sales position focused on identifying prospective collectors, developing client relationships and converting qualified leads into sales. Successful applicants will work directly beneath the Head of Sales and Managing Director, receiving guidance, training and ongoing support from the gallery’s senior leadership team. This position would suit someone who is commercially minded, confident speaking with new people and motivated by achieving measurable results. Previous experience within the art market is beneficial but not essential. A genuine interest in contemporary art, culture, luxury, sales or relationship-led business development would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Engaging with new enquiries and prospective collectors by telephone, email, messaging platforms and in person
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Nurturing leads through consistent and thoughtful follow-up
- Understanding each client’s interests, budget and collecting objectives
- Presenting suitable artworks and providing clear information about artists, availability and pricing
- Working towards individual and gallery-wide sales targets
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client information within the gallery’s CRM system
- Supporting private views, exhibitions, art fairs, collector dinners and other gallery events
- Representing D’Stassi Art professionally both inside and outside the gallery
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Sales, Managing Director and wider gallery team
