The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dedicated SAP BI Consultant to join their development team for a multinational SAP S/4 Hana migration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-quality business intelligence solutions, ensuring that all developments adhere to SAP best practices. You will play a key role in technical feasibility assessments, data integrity, and the continuous optimization of our BW environment.
Key Requirements
- SAP S/4 Hana experience.
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry.
- 5+ years SAP BI / BW experience.
- Accurately estimate work effort and manage personal workload to meet project deadlines.
- Provide expert input on the technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed system enhancements.
- Contribute to the overall performance and quality standards of the Development Team as defined by Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Partner with SAP application team data owners to resolve data issues or re-assign responsibilities, as necessary.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation; provide input for training materials and support the delivery of end-user training.
- Act as a supportive team player across all organizational levels, fostering positive business relationships and respecting individual abilities.
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in SAC Dashboarding, Query Designer, Query Analyser, and Web Applications Designer.
- Expert knowledge of Business Warehouse (BW), InfoProvider setup, and Data Modeling analysis.
- Extensive experience in Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL), including Report-to-Report Interfaces.
- Ability to perform BW job scheduling analysis and provide proposals for BW redesign to improve performance.
- Design and optimization of Process Chains to ensure efficient data flow.
- Diligent data load monitoring and root-cause analysis for system errors.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Portal Configuration and SAP Integrated Planning (IP).
