Your key responsibilities
-
Design and carry out laboratory investigations to assist in defining solutions to performance killers and cost drivers.
-
Analyse plant performance data, identify solutions and propose modified operation parameters and procedures for operate plant to optimise performance for SHEQ, cost, yield and supply.

Develop new analytical methods and standards, validate, train and handover to IPC lab as required.

Assist in plant trials and as a member of wider projects or problem-solving teams.

Participate in commissioning of new or modified plant/processes.

Participating in new methods development.

Ability to operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.

Undertaking ongoing personal development to maintain knowledge of current industry best practice.

Support the Operations, Technical and Quality teams with discipline specific experience and liaise with other discipline specialists as appropriate.

Undertake any other duties as required by the Site Leadership.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a Chemistry related subject and have a minimum of 3 years industrial experience within a regulated environment.

They should have a proven track record of technical competence in laboratory techniques together with problem solving skills.

Candidates must have experience in HPLC and GC analytical method development and be competent in the use of Chromatographic Data Systems.

Candidates should have advanced IT skills, and Lean Six Sigma training of at least yellow belt would be beneficial.
