As our successful Planning Manager, you will identify and drive the fundamental changes necessary to orient planning team behaviour towards customer needs and ensuring sustainable performance aligned with business requirements.
Your role will ensure planning production of finished and semi-finished goods and raw material ordering which will enable us to have the best service, response, cost and inventory balance through all aspects of planning and fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead production and materials planning to consistently achieve service, inventory, and cost targets
- Ensure timely material availability, proactively partnering with Procurement to address supplier delays, risks, and recurring issues
- Establish robust planning routines and drive strong adherence across all relevant stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and continuously optimize site production plans, balancing demand, capacity, and operational constraints
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data quality, and the adoption of digital and advanced planning tools
- Build, lead, coach, and develop the planning team in line with dsm-firmenich fundamentals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance culture

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in Supply Chain, including strong expertise in operations planning
- Proven experience in a people leadership or team management role
- APICS CPIM or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of SAP ECC or equivalent ERP systems; experience with advanced planning tools is an advantage
- Advanced analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer centric mindset
