Your Key Responsibilities

  • Sampling and analysis of raw materials and report results in LIMS/SAP.
  • Process and file all relevant documentation.
  • Inspect and offload incoming specified raw materials and packaging deliveries and report any deviations relating to quantity, quality or SHE to planner/shift manager/team leader.
  • Material movements on site.
  • Prepare bulk tankers and offloading plant.
  • Operation of tank farm 36 (and others) for distribution of materials.
  • Prepare and load final products for dispatch.
  • Adjusting equipment where this cannot be done from the control room on the basis of instructions from the control room operator and personal observations.
  • Issuing instructions to tanker drivers on safe working practices.
  • Housekeeping duties within blg63 t/f 36-10/11.

You bring

  • Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years relevant industrial experience.
  • An NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant subject would be desirable for this position.
  • Other essential behaviours are flexible, good communication and problem-solving skills.
