dsm-firmenich is recruiting for its prestigious three‑year Apprenticeship programme on the Dalry site. The programme provides a mixture of on‑the‑job learning and academic study and is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to kick‑start a career in science, production technology and engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Shadow Process Operations staff and/or Technical Supervisors during daily activities on the plant and in the control room.
- Assist with monitoring, controlling and managing production and utilities processes from the field and control room while complying with safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Follow instructions from the Control Room, Field Operator and Technician to carry out tasks as required.
- Assist in execution of safety, food safety and quality controls in accordance with site procedures.
- Clean process equipment and the plant as required and assist in preparing/charging raw materials for the process.
- Assist monitoring laboratory and other relevant process‑related results.

Who Should Apply
Prospective applicants must have achieved or have chance to achieve five passes at National 5 (including English), together with attainment or predicted attainment of two Higher qualifications by August 2026: one of which is Chemistry, Biology/Human Biology, Physics or Maths. Current and/or predicted Higher grades must be at level C or above. Additionally, all candidates must be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment, demonstrate a talent for practical skills and be prepared to make a positive contribution to the site.
