Overview
dsm-firmenich is recruiting for its four-year Apprenticeship programme on the Dalry site. The programme provides a mixture of on-the-job learning and academic study and is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to kick-start a career in science, production technology and engineering.

Your key responsibilities:
- Assisting with maintenance, fault finding, and repair of mechanical systems
- Learning how to interpret engineering drawings
- Gaining experience with plant equipment
- Working safely in line with health, safety, and quality standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities
- Assist in execution of safety, food safety and quality controls in adherence with site procedures.

You bring:
- Prospective applicants will need to have or attain five passes at National 5 (including English), together with attainment or predicted to have attained two Higher qualifications by August 2026: one of which is to be Physics or Maths. Current and/or predicted Higher grades must be at level C or above.
- For all roles you must be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment, demonstrate a talent for practical skills and be prepared to make a positive contribution to the site.
