We’re recruiting for an exciting new role within our field sales team! DSL Group (Nottingham) Ltd is the UK’s leading supplier of impulse promotional products to forecourts, convenience stores, and independent retailers. We operate in a fast‑paced, customer‑first environment and pride ourselves on strong relationships, high service standards, and consistent nationwide coverage.
This role is about service, relationships, and in‑store execution, not aggressive sales targets. You’ll take ownership of a defined territory, acting as the face of DSL Group — supporting existing customers, ensuring our products are well presented, and identifying opportunities to grow each account through great service and merchandising. You’ll enjoy a varied, hands‑on role that gets you out on the road, working directly with customers and managing your own day‑to‑day activity.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Support & Account Management
- Visit existing customers to check stock levels, rotate products, and collect returns
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with store owners and staff
- Act as a trusted point of contact for customers in your region
- Merchandising & In‑Store Standards
- Ensure displays are clean, fully stocked, and professionally presented
- Maintain high standards that reflect DSL Group’s brand and values
- Identify gaps or opportunities to improve product visibility and range
- Route Management & Reporting
- Plan and manage your own daily routes efficiently
- Complete reporting and updates via tablet
- Represent DSL Group professionally at all times
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer‑facing role (field‑based or retail preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Organised, reliable, and self‑motivated
- Comfortable using basic IT systems (tablet, Microsoft Office)
- A proactive, problem‑solving approach with a strong customer focus
- ÂŁ27,000 basic salary + commission
