About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial / Industrial Electrician to join our growing team in Manchester. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of electrical equipment
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Ensuring compliance with current UK wiring regulations
- Working independently or as part of a team on projects of varying sizes
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (can be provided)
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential):
- IPAF / PASMA certification
- Experience with control panels, motors, or PLC systems
- Testing and inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)
- ECS/CSCS card
