Overview
As VP Supply Chain you will lead a full modernization of a growing consumer goods company’s end-to-end supply chain.
You will consolidate logistics, planning, and procurement under one trusted owner, drive real-time visibility and demand-driven planning, and modernize freight and landed-cost management.
Reporting to the C-suite, you shape a unified operating model and build scalable processes with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities
- Establish real-time shipment visibility across inbound and outbound freight and replace manual tracking
- Centralize logistics activities under one owner and system of record
- Own and manage air freight with cost and performance tracking
- Implement demand-driven planning and MRP-based replenishment
- Improve inventory turns and reduce excess stock while maintaining service
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service for automated allocation processes
- Modernize freight and landed-cost management with ongoing visibility for leadership and Finance
- Develop supplier scorecards and digital connectivity (EDI/vendor portal) to improve quality/delivery
- Establish logistics process and data standards across the organization and contract logistics partners
- Lead ERP requirements and support selection/implementation, consolidating logistics and purchasing under a unified model
- Consolidate and develop logistics and purchasing teams, documenting processes and cross-training staff
- Key requirements
- 8+ years leading logistics, planning, and procurement in manufacturing, import-driven, or distribution environments
- Hands-on planning and inventory management experience (demand planning, MRP, replenishment, safety stock)
- Experience with TMS, visibility tools, carrier integration, and freight/landed cost management
- Experience leading ERP selection or implementation projects and consolidating functions
- Strategic and hands-on leadership
- Cross-functional collaboration across Warehousing, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and IT
