We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and experienced Removal Manager to lead and oversee their relocation operations in UK (office in Heathrow). This position requires a native Japanese speaker to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams, ensuring a smooth and professional relocation experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of removal operations.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and resources for seamless execution.
- Deliver high-quality moving services tailored to customer needs.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support moving staff to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
- Manage shift schedules and provide training to enhance team performance.
Client Engagement
- Meet with clients to understand their specific relocation requirements.
- Address and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Budget & Cost Management
- Oversee operational budgets and optimize cost efficiency.
- Monitor material and labor expenses to ensure operations remain within budget.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement new tools and technologies to improve service delivery and reduce costs.
Quality & Safety Assurance
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain high service standards and continuously improve based on client feedback.
Candidate Profile
- Industry Experience: Background in the moving or logistics industry is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and scheduling capabilities.
