Overview
In this role you will lead a market data advisory and procurement practice serving financial institutions, defining strategy and P&L while scaling the team and client base. You will build relationships with major data and analytics providers and drive growth through new business opportunities and strategic client engagements. The position demands cross-functional collaboration to optimize delivery, pricing, and performance, with a mission to reach multi-million ARR. This is a hands-on leadership role in a hybrid, globally distributed environment.

Responsibilities
- Own P&L, growth strategy, pricing, delivery model, and operating metrics
- Build and lead a global team of market data procurement specialists
- Act as executive sponsor for strategic client engagements and complex vendor negotiations
- Develop relationships with market data, research, and analytics providers
- Identify revenue growth opportunities via client expansion and new business development
- Partner with sales, client success, and operations to drive performance
Key requirements
- 10+ years in market data, strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, consulting, or related financial services
- Proven track record building and scaling teams, practices, or business lines with significant revenue growth
- Experience leading teams of 5+ and managing international stakeholders
- Strong executive-level negotiation, communication, and commercial skills
- Financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, pricing, and margins
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
