A global, technology-driven organization is hiring a Senior Sourcing Lead to own one of its most critical and fastest-growing spend categories: cloud infrastructure and AI inference. This role sits at the intersection of hyperscaler cloud, GPU capacity strategy, and AI infrastructure economics, partnering directly with executive technology and finance leadership to shape multi-billion-dollar investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute enterprise-wide sourcing strategy across cloud infrastructure and AI inference platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, and emerging AI infrastructure providers).
  • Lead high-value negotiations across large-scale commercial constructs, including EDPs, committed use structures, private pricing agreements, and capacity reservation models.
  • Drive AI inference and compute cost strategy, including pricing models (token-based, throughput-based) and vendor optimization.
  • Deliver workload-level cost optimization using FinOps practices, consumption modeling, and engineering-aligned cost governance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across technology, platform engineering, and finance.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with hyperscalers and next-generation AI infrastructure vendors.
  • Mentor and develop sourcing team members across complex technology categories.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in strategic sourcing / procurement with deep expertise in hyperscaler cloud and/or AI infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ownership of large-scale (nine-figure to multi-billion dollar) cloud or compute contract negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of hyperscaler commercial models (AWS, Azure, GCP) and emerging compute ecosystems.
  • Experience partnering with engineering and FinOps teams on cost optimization initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders in complex technology environments.
  • Background in Big Tech, top-tier financial services, or highly scaled technology organizations.
