Role: Head of Market Data Procurement

Compensation: $200,000 to $240,000plus bonus Overview Lead and scale a market data advisory and procurement business serving financial institutions, including private equity, hedge funds, investment banks, and asset managers.

This role owns strategy, P&L, team leadership, client relationships, and business growth, with a focus on building a scalable practice exceeding $10M+ ARR.

Key Responsibilities Own full P&L, growth strategy, pricing, delivery model, and operating metrics.

Build and lead a high-performing global team of procurement and market data specialists.

Serve as executive sponsor for strategic client engagements and complex vendor negotiations.

Develop relationships with major market data, research, and analytics providers.

Identify revenue growth opportunities through client expansion and new business development.

Partner cross-functionally with sales, client success, and operations to drive business performance.

Requirements10+ years of experience in market data, strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, consulting, or related financial services fields.

Proven track record building and scaling teams, practices, or business lines with significant revenue growth.

Experience leading teams of 5+ and managing international stakeholders.

Strong executive-level negotiation, communication, and commercial skills.

Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, pricing, and margins.

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Background Procurement, spend management, advisory, or managed services experience within the financial services ecosystem.

Established relationships across market data and research vendors.
