Greater New York City area$80,000-$120,000Shift: 1st (6:30am-4pm) / 2nd (2pm-11:30pm) / 3rd (10:30pm-7am)One of our leading food and beverage manufacturing clients is looking to bring on a strong supervisor to lead a team of technicians.
This person will be instrumental in maximizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and driving operational excellence throughout the facility.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisor include:3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; food or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and safety programs.
Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and automated production systems preferred.
Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office; strong communication and problem-solving skills. Union manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor Include: Lead and support a team of 7-8 Maintenance Technicians, providing coaching, training, and daily direction.
Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
Troubleshoot and oversee repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
Partner with Production and Engineering teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Monitor maintenance performance, work orders, and labor utilization to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures, conducting training, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
