Operating from the company's Heathrow hub, you will take ownership of a national territory, targeting SME and mid-market customers requiring international freight forwarding solutions.
With a strong global network, competitive service offering, and established operational infrastructure, you'll be provided with the platform and support needed to build a substantial customer portfolio and make a significant commercial impact. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a UK-wide new business strategy for Air Freight and Ocean Freight services. Identify, engage, and win new SME and mid-market customers across key industry sectors.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
Prepare tailored logistics solutions and commercial proposals.
Work closely with operational, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure successful implementation of new accounts.
Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline management through CRM systems. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
Represent the business at industry events, networking functions, and customer visits throughout the UK.About YouProven track record in freight forwarding business development.
Strong experience selling Air Freight and Ocean Freight solutions.
Demonstrable success winning new business within the UK market.
Excellent commercial, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from Supply Chain Managers to Directors and Business Owners.
Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable managing a national territory.
