We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to support our sales function and manage the customer journey from enquiry and order placement through to delivery. This role is ideal for someone with previous sales or sales administration experience who is confident on the telephone, highly organised, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Coordinate customer orders from receipt through to dispatch and delivery
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers via telephone and email
  • Handle incoming sales enquiries and provide product and order information
  • Process sales orders, invoices and related documentation accurately
  • Provide customers with regular updates on delivery dates and order status
  • Liaise with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure records are kept up to date
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales records
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
  • Support and mentor other members of the Administration team when required
  • Ensure company policies, health & safety, GMP and food safety standards are followed
  • Assist in other areas of the business as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous sales or sales administration experience (essential)
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Organised, proactive and able to use initiative
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Administration experience (desirable)
