We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our food manufacturing team to oversee the day-to-day running of our capsules and tablets areas. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for supporting the team to deliver strong efficiency, consistent quality, and full compliance with site standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the capsules and tablets teams during the daily shift.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of production areas, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the required quality standard.
- Monitor workflow, priorities, and performance to help keep production on track.
- Ensure pallets are booked on correctly against the relevant jobs.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Identify and raise any issues that may affect quality, efficiency, or compliance.
- Act as a point of contact for the team, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the shift.
- Promote good housekeeping, attention to detail, teamwork, and compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and BRCGS expectations.
- Ensure staff follow strict GMP guidelines and site procedures.
- Monitor machine output and batch quality to help ensure production targets are achieved.
- Support safe working practices.
