Do you have experience of working in manufacturing or production? We are seeking multiple dedicated Production Operators to join our food manufacturing team to work Monday-Friday 6am - 3pm or 2pm - 10pm shift. These roles involve working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products.
The ideal candidate MUST have manufacturing or production experience and will possess a strong understanding of food safety standards, mechanical knowledge, and basic mathematical skills. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to continue with their expertise within the food production industry.
Production and Packaging Operative Duties:The successful applicants will learn how to operate and maintain our new tablet presses and capsule filling machines whilst following strict GMP guidelines. We are looking for candidates that are able to follow instructions precisely, monitor machines to ensure high batch quality, work efficiently and meet output targets. You must be able to work independently, taking responsibility for the quality of your output whilst supporting the wider team. Please note this is a role that requires lifting and standing for extended periods.
Midweek Hours available:Working hours are 6am - 3pm OR 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday (42.5 hours per week paid). Midweek rates of pay are £13.00 per hour starting rate.
Production and Packaging Operative Qualifications:- Previous experience or knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is desirable.
- Must have a basic understanding of food production processes and machinery operation.
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good numeracy skills for recording data accurately and performing basic calculations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
