An established accountancy practice based in Preston is seeking an accountant to join their expanding business. The established practice has a strong presence throughout the north west and due to continued growth is now seeking additional staff.

The main focus of the role will be producing company accounts, tax and VAT returns for small, medium and entities within different industrial sectors. Additionally, you will be undertaking ad hoc accountancy assignments and projects as they arise.

The role will involve dealing with clients in person and over the telephone and meetings at clients' premises. Furthermore, you will be dealing with HMRC on a regular basis, filing accounts and resolving queries.

You must be an accountant with experience of working within an accountancy practice and undertaking company accounts and tax computations for various size businesses. Professional in your approach and be able to work on your own or as part of a team. A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills will be necessary.
