A Semi-Senior Accountant is required for a long established medium sized accountancy practice based in Blackburn and become part of their expanding team.
The accountant’s position will be responsible aiding the production of company accounts, tax computations, calculating VAT returns, dealing with clients and HMRC. On limited occasions you will be expected to visit clients at their premises and deal with with any queries. Additionally, as an accountant you will be expected to undertake ad hoc projects as they arise and be willing to help your colleagues should the need arise.
An accountant with at least three years’ experience of working within an accountancy practice, professional in your approach and be able to work on your own and as part of a team. Principally you will be part of a team that works closely together and therefore it is essential that you are a team player with good communication skills. Good experience of undertaking accounts preparations, tax returns and VAT returns are necessary for this accountant position
