An accountancy practice based in Preston is seeking a Manager / Junior Partner to join their expanding business. The business mainly undertakes accounts preparations, audit, tax and advisory and has a strong presence throughout the North West.
You will provide a key role in the accountancy practice, managing members of staff, ensuring their development and the business continues to achieve continued growth. You will be expected to manage a portfolio of clients ensuring their accounts and tax queries are managed and provide accounting advice as required.
Additionally, you will use your knowledge and experience to aid the practice to effectively and efficiently manage work-flow and new assignments in your team and influence the development of staff members. Previous managerial experience ideally from an accountancy practice business will be required for this position.
Excellent communication and organisation skills compiled with the ability to achieve success through people are essential. Ideally a Qualified Accountant although not a prerequisite, you must have several years’ experience at a managerial level within an accountancy practice.
