I am working exclusively with a global streetwear brand that is looking for a Head of Design to join their team. This is a new role within the company, responsible for creating innovative designs that reflect the brand's values, culture, and mission. You will also lead the Design team, aligning their efforts with the company's strategic and commercial goals.

The role includes:

  • Leading and inspiring the Design team, providing strategic direction for the creation of successful products.
  • Optimizing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Product to define and implement the long-term product strategy.
  • Managing the end-to-end design process, including approvals and critical path improvements to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery.
  • Reviewing collections and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Mentoring the Design Manager and team, conducting performance reviews, and setting growth objectives.
  • Using market analysis and customer insights to guide product development and maintain competitiveness.
  • Introducing new product categories and exploring market opportunities.
