Buyer – Menswear Brands

Based in Wiltshire – 2/3 days in the office

£60,000 – £65,000

I am looking for an experienced Buyer who has worked with Menswear brands in the premium market. It's a really exciting time to join the business and you will be working alongside the Head of Buying (who is also new to the business) to deliver a commercial product range in line with the company strategy.

The role:

  • Supporting the Head of Buying in the evolution of the 3 year Product, Brand, and Category strategy.
  • Creating seasonal category and brand buying strategy with the merchandising team; identifying market trends and maximising revenue and profitability.
  • Developing own brand product strategy and range, working closely with group design & sourcing teams.
  • Maintaining supplier relationships to maximise terms and ownership of brand partnership business plans.
  • Presenting the long term Brand Plan and seasonal product learnings to the Head of Buying
  • Developing the team and ensuring the Buying critical path is followed through effective delegation of tasks.
  • Ensuring company objectives and strategy are clearly understood by the team and holding them to account to deliver.
  • Reviewing and understanding weekly trading performance and achieved KPI’s with Merchandisers, providing insight and suggesting actions.
  • Completing store visits to ensure the key priorities of the “go to marketing” strategy are being adhered to and collections are landing as planned.
