We are working with a well established Ecommerce home textiles brand, who are looking for a Buyer to join their team.
The Role:
- Create commercial ranges that are in line with the target consumer being responsible for everything from initial research through to launch.
- Analyse sales data highlighting best/worst performers and take appropriate action.
- Oversee and sign off the sample process – lab dips/strike offs, red seals and gold seals.
- Have a strong understanding of our target consumer, competitors and marketplace platforms.
- Liaise with factories (based in the Far East) ensuring delivery and launch deadlines are met.
- Assist with the development of product ranges across multiple brands.
- Consistently keep up to date with new trends, colours and fabrics.
- Carry out instore and online competitor analysis.
- Work with the Ecommerce team to help support campaigns and photo shoots.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong product knowledge across textiles.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in either a Buying or Product Development background – ideally in a Junior Buyer position managing your own category.
- Strong understanding of supply chain.
