Site Logistics Operator

As a Site Logistics Operator (Fibre Operative), you will hold responsibility for the safe storage, loading and unloading of goods to support the Fibre operations. The role consists of operating a 7 tonne B2 Forklift truck with squeeze clamp attachment, and an internal shunt vehicle moving articulated LGV trailers around the site. Full plant training is provided on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• The safe loading, unloading and storage of goods on site
• Stock auditing to minimise loss
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered to
• Checking that vehicles on site are fit for purpose
• Ensuring all visiting drivers follow site rules
• Assisting with the training of new staff
• Reporting issues including incidents on site
