The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

Setting and maintaining all quality assurance and process controls in the manufacturing process and following through the actions in a timely manner with the relevant personnel

Responsible for working with the Production Manager (Conversion) and Shift Managers to ensure ongoing continuous improvement and adherence to process

Custodian of the DS Smith process control standards on site

Responsible for reviewing machine up and down time in order to continually improve uptime and process reliability

Responsible for Operator asset care adherence to minimise unplanned downtime

Identifying and implementing process improvements to maximise throughput.
Requirements
•Engineering / Science Degree or equivalent (preferable)
•Experience of Process Engineering required
•Strong understanding of Lean process and experience in lean manufacturing environment (DS Smith Way / Six Sigma)
•Experience of Converting assets (preferable)
•Good analytical and communication skills
The hours for this role are 40 per week Monday to Friday.
