We are looking for a proactive and driven Supply Chain Manager to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-performing operation of our on-site scheduling and logistics teams, in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. In this key leadership role, you will uphold DS Smith standards, deliver excellent customer service levels, and foster strong cross-functional collaboration to support exceptional site performance.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the key point of contact between the site, Cluster Supply Chain, and Sales for priority setting.
- Ensure efficient scheduling of machine capacity and distribution networks to meet required delivery times and support reliable customer service.
- Set targets and drive ongoing improvement in scheduling and logistics operations.
- Improve conversion and logistics costs through effective machine routing and scheduling.
- Lead on-site scheduling processes for production and transport.
- Drive cost optimisation across on-site and internal warehouse operations.
- Champion a culture of safe working practices across all logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years' experience in logistics, scheduling, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience leading operational teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commitment to safety, people development, and operational excellence.
- Flexibility and good problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Experienced Microsoft Office user (advanced in Excel).
