About the role We have an excellent opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Kemsley Paper Mill. Reporting to the Area Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility for maintaining and delivering world class mechanical uptime. This will be delivered by leading the mechanical craft team, planning and executing successful maintenance shuts and reacting dynamically to any reactive issues. We\’ll also need you to interact closely with Engineering & Production Teams to monitor performance, react to breakdowns and identify improvements for the continuous development of the process. The role requires engagement with external resources/suppliers, to provide support and labour for various maintenance activities. You will be responsible for the ongoing development of the asset and solve common problems after carrying out root cause analysis. Participation in the strategical development of the Paper machines is also highly encouraged.
