About the role
Learning & Development Specialist – reporting to the Head of Leadership and Functional Development, this role focuses on designing, producing and managing learning initiatives within the Sales, Marketing & Innovation (SMI) division to drive improved performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, create and deploy fit‑for‑purpose learning initiatives using blended learning methodology, working closely with SME’s and digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning solutions across SMI that follow 70-20-10 methodology.
- Work with SME’s to design content and convert their expertise into effective learning experiences, including producing eLearning modules with authoring software.
- Ensure that learning solutions are translated to a high quality in close collaboration with sub‑regional Talent Leads and Learning Experience Platform, supporting channel setup, eLearning upload and module assignment.
- Write relevant communications, issue communications and follow up, reporting on activity and completion rates.
- Provide administrative and logistical support before, during and after training sessions conducted by the SMI Talent Team – schedule sessions, maintain key development records and compile post‑training surveys and statistics.
- Coordinate and monitor SMI learning programmes, develop necessary supporting materials and communications, deploy and maintain learning tools, and provide assessment reports on all L&D activities to evaluate effectiveness and return on investment.
About You
- Qualified to Degree level, or equivalent experience in L&D.
- Experience creating and implementing e‑learnings using Articulate 360 is a must.
- Experience assessing capability and critical gaps at individual and organisational levels.
- Competent in 70/20/10 methodology.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload versus deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a large, matrix organisation.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Ability to confidently engage stakeholders at all levels, being credible and persuasive.
- Flexibility, reliability, resilience and tenacity.
